We have received a book from the Promotion and Education Committee of Livingston County Farm Bureau in honor of National Agriculture Month. The title is ” My Grandpa, My Tree and Me” by Roxanne Troup and Kendra Binney. This book is a wonderful story about a child’s relationship with her grandfather as they care for a special pecan tree through the change of the growing and harvest seasons. It is the hope of the Bureau this book will inspire young readers to learn more about where their food comes from.

The library has a decor change. Due to the generosity of a patron there are 3 new chairs in the sitting area. They are beautiful, give the space an old world atmosphere & are very comfortable. Stop in to visit our new space and check out some of our good reading material.
